Fall Bucket List Tutorial

Hello friends and a big welcome to Fall! Fall is one of my favourite seasons of the year. I love all the colours, the coziness, crisp weather and pumpkins. I absolutely love all things related to Thanksgiving and Halloween too! Naturally for me, I had to create my own Fall bucket list. I usually do every year and thought that I could walk you through a tutorial on how I created my Fall bucket list.

Here are the materials you will need:

-Somewhere to create your list. Whether this is a piece of paper, a journal, or a planner. I created mine in my planner.

Tombow Dual Brush pens

Pentel water brush pen (or a small part brush and water)

Papermate Flair pen in orange

Papermate InkJoy gel pen in purple

I started off by using the Tombow Fudenosuke soft tip to letter ‘Fall Bucket List’ at the top. I then created pumpkins but using the Tombow dual brush pens in 925 and 885. I lightly sketched the outline of a pumpkin using the bullet tip. Then with my water brush pen, I applied water to the sketch to get the colour running. When dried, I went over the sketch with the brush tip to define the pumpkin shape. I then added a stem, vines and leaves using a combination of the Tombow dual brush pens in 346 and 245. I also applied water to the stem to create a watercolour effect.

I created the list by drawing squares with my Papermate Flair pen in orange and wrote out each item with my Papermate InkJoy gel pen in purple. Yay to Fall colors!

Of course I had to letter something so I choose the phrase ‘Sweater Weather’! I used my Tombow dual brush pen in 679 for this and added a shadow as well using N35.

To finish things off, I created pumpkin vines around the border adding leaves with the Tombow dual brush pen tip. Super cute!

A simple and easy way to create a Fall bucket list. If you recreate this or create your own, please share as I would love to see!
